Rhoads of Revelation

Rhoads of Revelation are a Greek heavy metal tribute band based in Athens, dedicated to the music of Ozzy Osbourne and guitarist Randy Rhoads. Their repertoire places particular emphasis on Blizzard of Ozz and Diary of a Madman, the two landmark albums recorded during Rhoads’s brief but profoundly influential collaboration with Osbourne. The band also performs material from Ozzy Osbourne’s later solo catalogue and his years as the vocalist of Black Sabbath, presenting a broader overview of his career while preserving the guitar-focused character of the Randy Rhoads era. Their lineup features vocalist Panayiotis Samaras, guitarist Miltos Makris, bassist Dimitris Megalios, keyboardist Marios Theofilatos and drummer Akis Kakkavas. Rhoads of Revelation have appeared regularly at venues across Athens and developed Wizards of Ozz, an annual live tribute featuring guest musicians from the Greek heavy metal and rock community. Rather than producing an original discography, the group concentrate on recreating the arrangements, guitar work and theatrical energy associated with Ozzy Osbourne’s classic repertoire.
