Frequently Asked Questions
Everything about how Athens Events works — what it covers, how listings are kept current, and what it can and cannot help with.
Athens Events is an event discovery platform for Athens and the wider Attica region. It helps people explore what is happening around them and connect with the relevant event, venue, organizer or ticket provider.
You can read more about its history and purpose on the About Athens Events page.
The scope is intentionally broad. Athens Events covers concerts, club nights, festivals, theatre, cinema, exhibitions, performances, comedy, talks, workshops, food and drink experiences, community gatherings and more.
The platform is not limited to music, nightlife or any single cultural scene.
Athens Events focuses on the city of Athens and the wider Attica region. Our aim is to make events visible across the centre, its neighbourhoods, the suburbs and the surrounding areas.
You can search directly or filter events by date, genre, event type, artist and venue. Dedicated pages also make it easier to explore what is happening today, this weekend, at night or across specific parts of the city's cultural life.
Our goal is the broadest possible coverage, but no city guide can guarantee that every event is present or that every change is reflected immediately.
Athens is constantly moving, and new events are announced every day. If you notice something missing, you are welcome to send it to us.
New events and changes are added regularly as information becomes available.
Dates, times, locations, lineups and ticket availability can change. Before travelling or making a purchase, always confirm the final details through the official event page, organizer, venue or ticket provider.
Yes. Artists, organizers, venues and members of the public can send us events through the Contact us link.
Please include the event name, date and time, venue, a short description, a poster or image, an official event page and any ticket or reservation link.
Submitting an event does not guarantee that it will appear. We need enough clear and reliable information to create a useful listing, and the event must be publicly announced and relevant to Athens or the wider Attica region.
Contact us and include the link to the Athens Events listing, together with the information that needs to be corrected. When possible, include an official announcement or source confirming the change.
Corrections involving dates, venues, cancellations and ticket information are especially important.
