Bloombox

Bloombox, an Athens quartet formed in late 2023, presents contemporary jazz meeting improvisation, afrobeat, and neo-soul. Drawing from iconic contemporary songs, the group creates personal reinterpretations rather than straightforward covers. Influences from The Rolling Stones, Michael Jackson, Nirvana, and Lady Gaga transform through groove, improvisation, and live interplay between four musicians, resulting in sound that moves between familiar and unexpected, warm, dynamic, and rhythmically intense.
