Altin Gün returns to Athens with their latest album 'Garip', a tribute to legendary Turkish folk musician Neşet Ertaş. The Amsterdam-based ensemble has earned recognition on the global world-psych scene by reimagining Eastern sounds through a distinctive blend of psychedelic rock, funk, folk, and contemporary electronics. Since their 2018 debut, they evolved into one of the most recognizable world-psych acts. Their sonic journey moved from early fuzz guitars and analogue instruments toward electronic and dreamy textures while maintaining core Eastern musical roots. 'Garip' features nine Ertaş compositions reinterpreted through funk rhythms, psychedelic guitars, orchestral strings, synth textures, and influences spanning arabesque, film soundtracks, European pop and indie rock. Fronted by vocalist, keyboardist and bağlama virtuoso Erdinç Ecevit, Altin Gün deliver expansive live performances fusing dance energy, psychedelic atmosphere and irresistible grooves.
