La Coka Nostra is the US supergroup that House of Pain's core built with Ill Bill of Non Phixion and Slaine, releasing three albums between 2009 and 2016. The 2009 debut A Brand You Can Trust pulled in Snoop Dogg, B-Real and Immortal Technique; DJ Premier and Statik Selektah handled beats on the 2012 follow-up. Live, they stack heavy boom-bap under some of hip-hop's most aggressive MCs, with lyrics fixed on street realism, addiction and politics. Athens gets them at ARCH Club, with Thytis and Loimos, two local acts, opening.
