Τα Άσπρα Άλογα του Ερρίκου Ίψεν
Hosted by ΣΚΑΦΙΔΑΣ ΔΩΡΟΠΟΥΛΟΥ Ε Ε

Two major Cretan cultural institutions, the Cretan State Theatre and the Heraklion Cultural Conference Centre, join forces with producer Gerasimos Skafidas for this landmark co-production. Ibsen's masterpiece explores a society bound by social convention and illusion. Directed by Nikos Haniotakis, the play presents the collision between personal aspiration and unyielding social reality. White horses serve as mysterious symbols of escape toward an ideal world. Through intense dramatic situations, Ibsen reveals the imperative need for honesty and self-knowledge. The narrative unfolds at Rosmersholm, an ancestral mansion in a remote Norwegian fjord town, where a family's conservative legacy confronts the possibility of freedom and change.
