One Man, Two Guvnors

Richard Bean's acclaimed modern comedy 'One Man, Two Guvnors' merges commedia dell'arte tradition with British humour. Directed by Thanos Tokakis, the play features Giorgos Chrysostomos as the desperate servant Francis who urgently needs both work and food. When offered simultaneous employment by two different employers, he foolishly accepts without telling anyone. Chaos erupts as one boss hides behind a fake identity and the other entangles himself in suspicious tales of love and crime. As Francis frantically juggles both positions, the world around him descends into a frenetic carnival of misunderstandings, lost messages and elaborate schemes. Gregoria Metheniti takes on the demanding dual role of Rachel and Roscoe. The production earned multiple awards and international acclaim.
