A production by Happy Productions, this deeply human and harsh work explores fear, racism, social disintegration and the limits of survival. Written by Thanasis Papathanasiou and Michalis Reppas, it is directed by Giorgis Tsouris. The play follows four Greeks, newly poor individuals living on the margins of prosperity. Their daily lives are upended when a Kurdish refugee enters their sphere. Through their resulting conflicts, the undercurrent of racism emerges. Alienation and the impasses of contemporary life come to the fore, examining how we respond when pushed to the edge of humanity in the struggle for survival.
