An author meets a twenty-year-old parricide named Martín in prison over months. He aims to write a theatrical work based on Martín's story, proposing the young prisoner perform as himself on stage. When the ministry forbids this, actor Federico assumes the role instead. The author now works simultaneously with both. Franco-Uruguayan Sergio Blanco, a leading voice in Spanish-language theatre, delivers a contemporary exploration of masculine identity, oppression, violence, crime, punishment and discrimination. The piece simultaneously examines theatre's creative processes through references to the Oedipus myth and Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment. Director Vangelis Theodoropoulos brought this multilayered work to life with direction praised for its exceptional rhythm and compelling intensity.
