McNEAL

One of Broadway's most acclaimed theatrical successes in recent years, Ayad Akhtar's Pulitzer Prize-winning McNeal makes its Greek premiere, directed by Christos Sougaros. An outstanding cast is led by Pygmalion Dadakaris in the emblematic role of Jacob McNeal. The play centers on McNeal, a celebrated yet controversial and self-destructive writer at the height of his career, pursuing the Nobel Prize in Literature. As his relationship with his son, his past, and his creative process crumble, McNeal faces a new and terrifying reality: artificial intelligence. This contemporary spiritual thriller explores artificial intelligence, plagiarism, power, and the boundaries of human creation. The production is staged as a large-scale, high-tech theatrical experience.
