Markos Sefellis returns to Delphinario this summer with 'GELAS', a new revue and an explosive political satire. The production comments on Greek reality, current affairs, political parties, leaders and social media through Sefellis's distinctive humour. At its centre is an ambitious political leader who founds the 'GELAS' party, promising citizens one thing alone: daily laughter. The protagonist embarks on a frenzied campaign where rallies resemble musical theatre spectacles and laughter becomes a national goal. The revue features new satirical sketches, choreography, costume changes and unexpected twists alongside sharp commentary on political and social issues. When reality resembles a revue, the revue becomes reality.
