Aristophanes' ancient comedy Peace travels to selected Greek cities in a bold new production directed by Nikos Karathanous. The staging features original adaptation, text and music by Phoivos Deliboriás. Karathanous, Deliboriás and Angelos Triantafyllou create a work that is abundant, comic and profoundly political. It stands as a vital response to the madness of war, articulated through music, collective action and popular celebration. Written in 421 BC during wartime exhaustion, the original play encounters a contemporary world still troubled by violence, conflict and insecurity.
