The production premiered at Epidaurus Ancient Theatre in July, drawing 15,700 spectators across two performances. Despite heavy rainfall that interrupted Friday's showing, audiences remained engaged. Saturday concluded with a standing ovation. This contemporary reading transforms the classical work into a celebration of music, collective action, and popular culture as resistance to the logic of war. The touring production now visits selected cities, bringing Aristophanes' timeless exploration of peace and human dignity to audiences beyond the ancient amphitheater.
