Samuel Beckett's Happy Days is presented as part of the Aischylea Festival 2026 at the IRIS venue in Eleusis. The festival's 52nd edition runs from August 30 to October 3, featuring selected performances, theatrical productions, concerts spanning various music genres, art exhibitions and film screenings. The IRIS venue, located on Eleusis's waterfront, is a converted factory serving as a contemporary cultural space. The space features a distinctive chimney and two protected factory buildings designated as heritage monuments. These structures exemplify industrial architecture from the interwar period. Transformed from its original industrial use, IRIS now hosts cultural events for residents and visitors to western Attica.
