Πάνος Βλάχος

Panos Vlahos is a Greek actor, singer-songwriter and musician whose career runs in parallel across theatre, television, cinema and live music. As a songwriter he works within contemporary Greek song, combining entehno and laiko forms with folk-rooted arrangements, satire and direct observations of urban life. Vlahos writes much of his own material and performs as both singer and instrumentalist. His recordings have developed from intimate, guitar-led songs into fuller ensemble work, while retaining the sharp phrasing and narrative instinct of a performer accustomed to the stage. His recent catalogue includes the albums “Πληγή έμπνευσης” and “Άλμπουμ φωτογραφικά”. Across his recorded work he has collaborated with artists including George Dalaras, Miltos Paschalidis, Natassa Bofiliou, Foivos Delivorias and Nefeli Fasouli, placing his songs in conversation with several generations of contemporary Greek music. Onstage, humour and tenderness sit beside social and political commentary rather than functioning as separate parts of the show. His concerts are therefore neither conventional singer-songwriter recitals nor extensions of his acting work: they are live performances built around original songs, shifting moods and a deliberately close exchange with the audience.
