Grace Dahl is a Budapest-born, Amsterdam-based DJ, producer and label founder of Hungarian and Finnish heritage. Raised between Hungary, Spain and the Netherlands, she grew up surrounded by electronic music: her parents were involved in Budapest’s rave scene during the 1990s, and some of her earliest musical memories came from watching her father play records at home.
Dahl began DJing at eighteen and developed her reputation within Amsterdam’s club circuit before becoming a resident of the influential Vault Sessions series. Her sets combine hypnotic loops, hardgroove rhythms, driving percussion and heavier, tribal-leaning techno, while also drawing selectively from house, electro, UK garage and drum and bass. She has since appeared at clubs and festivals including Berghain, Awakenings, RSO, Boiler Room Lisbon and Stone Techno Festival.
Her production career began in 2018 with a contribution to a Coincidence Records compilation, followed by her debut solo EP, Dark Side of Desire, on Khazad Records. Subsequent releases have included Vermilion Empire on Amelie Lens’s EXHALE, One Woo for Freedom on Voxnox, The Green Room for Vault Records and the System Failure EP on South Signatures. In 2024, she founded Serial Disc Touchers, an independent label created to support stylistically unrestricted dance music, launching it with a collaborative release alongside Alec Dienaar. Dahl was selected as a Beatport Next artist in 2025.
