Parklife: Beatles Symphonic

The National Symphony Orchestra and Choir of ERT, under conductor Michalis Oikonomou, turn the Beatles into a full symphonic program. Expect "Let It Be," "Yesterday," "Hey Jude," "Come Together" and "Here Comes the Sun," rebuilt for orchestra and choir rather than a four-piece band. It runs as part of Parklife, outdoors on the Xefoto lawn at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, with Aperol as the sponsor. Entry is free, which makes it an easy call: songs you already know by heart, arranged for strings and voices instead of guitars.
