Vienna Mozart Orchestra New Year Celebration

The Vienna Mozart Orchestra returns triumphantly to Christmas Theater for its established New Year concert. The ensemble comprises fifty accomplished musicians serving as permanent collaborators with Vienna's Philharmonic. Performing Mozart compositions and Viennese waltzes, they are accompanied by principal soloists from Vienna Opera. All performers wear authentic period costumes and wigs from Mozart's era. The program's first half features celebrated Mozart arias performed by soprano vocalists from Vienna Opera. The second half showcases Strauss family waltzes and polkas in festive celebration. The repertoire includes works such as The Blue Danube, the Emperor Waltz, selections from Die Fledermaus, and the Radetzky March.
