The Aeschyleia Festival, organised by the Municipality of Eleusis since 1975, continues its cultural mission with youthful momentum across Western Attica. This year's 52nd edition presents theatrical performances, concerts spanning diverse musical genres, visual art exhibitions and film screenings. Events take place at the ΙΡΙΣ venue on Eleusis's waterfront. Housed in a transformed former factory, the space retains distinctive industrial architecture from the interwar period, including its original smokestack and two protected heritage structures. These buildings represent representative examples of interwar industrial design. The festival respects the city's history while drawing strength from its past and charting its cultural future with consistency and responsibility.
