Joe Lynn Turner: Live in Athens

Joe Lynn Turner has spent five decades as the voice other people needed. He joined Rainbow when Ritchie Blackmore called, sang on Deep Purple's Slaves and Masters, and cut the Odyssey record with Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force. Along the way he lent his voice to sessions for Cher, Billy Joel and Bonnie Tyler. This Gagarin 205 show is a run through the hits of Rainbow, Deep Purple and the classic rock he built his name on. If Stone Cold still means something to you, this is the night for it.

Coroner, Depressive Age, Cryptic Shift

Coroner rarely tour, so a Gagarin 205 date fifteen years after their last Athens show carries weight. The Swiss technical thrash band, who started in Zurich as Celtic Frost's road crew, returned in 2025 with Dissonance Theory and collected album-of-the-year honors for it. This is one of the few European stops on the run. Support comes from Berlin's Depressive Age, playing Greece for the first time, and Britain's Cryptic Shift, a younger progressive death-thrash group now signed to Metal Blade. Pioneers, a cult name, and a rising one, sharing a stage once.

Halloween Live Chaos

Nekrotsoulithra presents Halloween Live Chaos featuring $ulee and DJ Kakou. Nekrotsoulithra, established in 2017, creates original trash pop exploring electronic subgenres from happy hardcore and rave pop to neoperreo and reggaeton. The project has released 1 LP, 3 EPs and numerous singles. $ulee, a multi-genre artist from Thessaloniki active since 2021, combines dark rap aesthetics with Michigan and Chicago production styles featuring hard-hitting flows. DJ Kakou, based in Athens with Thessaloniki origins, creates mixed-genre sets that maintain continuous audience movement.

Delines Fest

Delines Fest is the first live outing from Delines, the media channel run by Pavlos Toumbekis and Antonis Konstantaras. The bill leans on two poles of the domestic scene: Greek hip hop, headed by ZN founder Taki Tsan alongside DJ ALX of Terror X Crew, and punk, from the veteran Hat Trick and the younger pop-punk band Over 9000. Tony Bluebird, Konstantaras's solo project, rounds it out. Alongside the sets there are screenings of exclusive clips from the channel's shows, a Q&A, a meet and greet, and the launch of the first Delines merch.

Conway the Machine x Daringer: Reject II Experience

Conway the Machine came up through Griselda, the Buffalo collective he still anchors. The draw is the writing: raw lyrics and real narratives pulled from his own life, the same voice behind From King to a GOD and God Don't Make Mistakes. Plisskën brings the Reject 2 tour to Gagarin 205, marking ten years of that record, with Daringer on the bill. The promise is a loud, high-energy live set, heavy on intensity. For anyone who follows American underground rap on its own terms, that is reason enough to show up.

Trouf "6 Ευκαιρίες" Live

Trouf is bringing his new album "6 Ευκαιρίες" to Athens, and the whole show is built around playing it live. Dynasty Group is running the night at Gagarin 205. An album presentation is a particular kind of gig: the new tracks get their first real airing in front of a crowd, before anyone has settled on which ones are the singles. If you have been following Greek rap and you would rather hear the record loud, with the artist in the room, than through your headphones, this is the night for it.

Käärijä

Käärijä is the Eurovision act the public actually voted for: second place in 2023, first in the televote, and Cha Cha Cha, the song that reached the top ten in thirteen countries. The Finnish performer makes his Greek debut at Gagarin 205. Since Eurovision he has toured Europe's festivals in his signature green outfit and recorded with fellow contest names Tommy Cash, Baby Lasagna and Joost Klein. Expect the sound that got him here: rave energy, rap attitude and pop chaos, delivered with the stage theatrics that made the original clip travel.

Napalm Death

Napalm Death have been Birmingham's grindcore standard-bearers for four decades, long enough to hold a Guinness record for the shortest song ever recorded and to land genuinely extreme noise on the album charts. The Campaign For Musical Destruction tour brings them to Gagarin with three support acts: Master, the death metal band fronted by Paul Speckmann, Australia's Brat and Finland's Goatburner. Frontman Barney Greenway pairs cookie-monster vocals with real politics, which is the whole point: brutal music that argues about something instead of coasting on the usual sex and drugs cliches.

Παιδί Τραύμα Live στο Gagarin 205

Παιδί Τραύμα is the project of Tasos Karteris, a name in Greece's independent scene who builds each album around a single theme and lets the personal stories carry it. His latest, «Δεύτερη Ζωή» on Fine! Records, is a record about the selves we left behind and the wish to start again. At Gagarin 205 he plays it live with his regular band: Dimitris Grigoriadis on drums, Kostas Grountas on bass and keys, Denis Morfis on guitar, Emi Path on keys. The opening act is still to be announced. Expect a set that moves between loud and quiet, dance and stillness.

The Ocean

The Ocean are a German post-metal collective who have spent two decades reshaping heavy music under founder Robin Staps, their guitarist and lyricist, working with a rotating cast of players. This Gagarin show is built around Solaris, their twelfth album, named after the Andrei Tarkovsky film, with material from across the discography worked in. Belgium's Psychonaut bring their debut World Maker and frontman Stefan De Graef, while Hungary's The Devil's Trade, the solo project of songwriter Makó Dávid, arrives off a touring history that runs through Roadburn, Hellfest and Brutal Assault. One night, three bands.

Jameson Connects: God Is An Astronaut

God Is An Astronaut have spent over two decades making instrumental post-rock that influenced a generation of bands after them. The Irish group return to Athens after three years for a single show at Gagarin 205, part of the Jameson Connects sessions. Their run goes from the 2002 debut The End of the Beginning through All Is Violent, All Is Bright, Ghost Tapes #10 and the recent Embers, and the set is built to cover the whole catalogue rather than one album. They play the big European festivals and packed rooms across Europe, Asia and America.

UP THE HAMMERS FESTIVAL XXI

Up The Hammers Festival has endured as a sanctuary for traditional, epic and underground heavy metal for over two decades. The festival brings together international acts across multiple generations of the heavy metal underground. The lineup features landmark performances including Cirith Ungol in a globally exclusive appearance and reunites legendary Italian band Astaroth. Returning acts like Armored Saint and Pagan Altar anchor the bill. The festival showcases both established torchbearers of classic heavy metal and emerging talent from the European and American underground, including Greek newcomers Axeon. Acts span US power metal, British epic doom, German dark metal and Scandinavian traditions. Delta Goodrem: PURE World Tour

Delta Goodrem plays Greece for the first time, an Australian singer-songwriter and pianist with more than twenty years and millions of records behind her. She broke through with the multi-platinum Innocent Eyes and the hits Born To Try, Lost Without You and Predictable. In 2026 she represented Australia at Eurovision with Eclipse, finishing fourth. The PURE World Tour follows her new album Pure, and the Gagarin 205 set runs from career-spanning favourites to that fresh material. A meet-and-greet package adds early entry, a photo with Goodrem and a signed gift.
