JAMESON CONNECTS music sessions presents God Is An Astronaut at Gagarin 205. The post-rock band returns to Athens after a three-year absence from live performances in the city. Since their 2002 debut The End of the Beginning, the band has released All Is Violent, All Is Bright, Far From Refuge, Ghost Tapes #10, and most recently Embers. At this concert, God Is An Astronaut will perform material from Embers. The ensemble's music is entirely orchestral in composition throughout their work. Their instrumental post-rock pieces span nearly two decades of artistic creation and continued musical development.
