Type Zero is an Athens-based Greek DJ and electronic artist whose work crosses between Drum & Bass, Jungle, broken-beat Techno and industrial electronics. Although originating from Athens, the project’s early development is connected to Chania, where Type Zero first became involved with the local bass-music circuit.
Early sets were primarily rooted in Drum & Bass and Jungle, combining futuristic urban textures with more percussive and tribal selections. Over time, Type Zero expanded into Techno, industrial rhythm structures and experimental broken beats, becoming increasingly active across both the bass and Techno sides of Greece’s underground electronic scene.
Type Zero is a member of Urban Danja and co-curates the Athens collective BDRM BRDM alongside Unified Method. Through BDRM BRDM, the pair have hosted radio sessions and invited artists working across experimental Techno, industrial electronics, ambient music and unconventional club forms.
The project’s first clearly documented production milestone is “Muay Thai,” a collaboration with Unified Method released on 19 June 2026. The track appeared on BDRM BRDM’s debut compilation, UNHAPPY HARDCORE Vol. 1, alongside music by Abstract Math, DΛS, X.V.I.V., Ruben Seoane, Weever, Kimisma and ΠΙΕΣΗ. The release formally connected Type Zero’s DJ activity with the harsher broken-beat and industrial direction developed through BDRM BRDM.
