Steph is a Greek DJ, electronic music producer, club manager and event organiser based in Athens. Active within the city’s club scene for more than two decades, he is particularly known for his long-running residency at Bolivar Beach Club, where he has performed regularly since 2006.
His career has developed through several connected roles within nightlife and electronic music. In addition to performing as a DJ, Steph has worked as a promoter, event organiser, club manager and stage manager, contributing to the organisation and musical direction of large-scale events in Athens.
As Bolivar’s resident DJ, he has supported a wide range of prominent international artists from house, techno, progressive and melodic electronic music. His frequent appearances at the venue have made him a consistent presence within Athens’ summer club culture and the wider local dance music circuit.
Steph’s sets are built around adaptable electronic selections rather than a single fixed genre. Depending on the event, he moves between house, progressive house, melodic house, melodic techno and deeper atmospheric material. This flexibility has allowed him to perform both opening sets and later-night club sessions alongside artists with significantly different styles.
His approach as a selector emphasises gradual progression, dancefloor awareness and the relationship between the resident DJ and the headline performer. Rather than treating support appearances as isolated showcases, his sets are designed to establish the musical environment of the night and guide the audience toward the main performance.
Alongside his residency and event work, Steph has released electronic music and continues to perform under the Steph Selector identity. His longevity at Bolivar and his involvement in multiple areas of event production have made him a familiar figure within the Athens electronic music community.
