Firefly are a Greek hard rock tribute band dedicated to the music of Uriah Heep. The project emerged publicly during 2025 and made its first announced Athens appearance at Kyttaro Live Club in January 2026, sharing the stage with the established Greek Dio tribute band Rock ’n’ Roll Children.
Their performances focus on the combination of heavy guitar riffs, Hammond-organ arrangements, progressive structures and vocal harmonies that defined Uriah Heep’s classic catalogue. The repertoire places Firefly between hard rock, progressive rock and early heavy metal, reflecting the stylistic range associated particularly with the group’s influential 1970s period.
Firefly returned to Kyttaro’s programme for a joint performance with Saints & Sinners, conceived as a tribute to the musical legacies of Jon Lord and Ken Hensley. The event expands beyond a conventional single-band tribute by connecting material from Uriah Heep with songs associated with Deep Purple, Whitesnake and Blackfoot.
Firefly remain principally a live tribute project. No original studio discography, permanent official website or independently verified artist-operated social profile has yet been identified.
