Nicole Moudaber is a Lebanese–British DJ, producer, label founder and radio host, born in Nigeria and based in London. Her career began in Beirut, where she became involved in the city’s underground club culture as a promoter before relocating to London and establishing herself internationally as a DJ and producer.
Her sound is rooted in powerful, percussion-driven techno, combining driving rhythms, dark atmospheric passages and groove-heavy influences from house and tech house. Her recorded output includes the 2013 Drumcode album Believe, the collaborative BREED EP with Skunk Anansie vocalist Skin, and an extensive catalogue of singles, EPs and remixes released through labels including Drumcode, Intec, Truesoul, Hot Creations and her own MOOD imprint. Among her best-known productions is her remix of Alcatraz’s Give Me Luv, which became Beatport’s top-selling techno track of 2015.
Moudaber founded MOOD Records in 2013 as a platform for her own productions and artists working across contemporary techno. The label later became part of her wider InTheMood project, encompassing a globally syndicated radio programme, an Apple Music show and an international event series. Her discography also includes collaborations with Carl Cox, Chris Liebing, Jamie Jones, Ida Engberg, Moby, the London Community Gospel Choir and Skin, reflecting a career that extends beyond club-focused techno into vocal, house and experimental electronic collaborations.
