Nick Devon is a Greek DJ, electronic music producer and composer based in Athens. Born Nikos Chrysoulakis, he has built his career around atmospheric, emotionally driven forms of techno, combining hypnotic rhythms, intricate sound design and dark melodic structures.
He emerged within the European underground electronic scene during the early 2010s and became closely associated with Steyoyoke, the Berlin-based label known for developing the ethereal techno sound. His releases for Steyoyoke and its darker Steyoyoke Black imprint established him as one of the label’s most consistent contributors.
A defining release in his catalogue is “The Poem,” a track that helped introduce his detailed, cinematic production style to a wider audience. His album Monochromatic World further developed this approach through immersive electronic compositions built around restrained melodies, deep percussion and carefully constructed atmospheric progression.
Nick Devon’s music frequently moves between melodic techno, ethereal techno, progressive house and deeper forms of electronic music. Rather than relying exclusively on large drops or direct club formulas, his productions often unfold gradually, creating tension through repetition, evolving synthesis and emotional contrast.
Alongside his studio work, Devon has maintained an extensive international DJ career, performing across Greece and in cities including Berlin, Amsterdam and Los Angeles. He has appeared regularly at Bolivar Beach Club in Athens and has shared lineups with many prominent artists from the melodic house and techno scene.
His DJ sets reflect the same philosophy as his productions, moving through deep, hypnotic and melodic material while maintaining a strong sense of narrative. Through his long-running relationship with Steyoyoke and his carefully developed sound, Nick Devon has become an established figure within Greece’s contemporary electronic music community.
