Written and directed by Carmen Rouggeri, this theatrical production chronicles the life of Alexander the Great. The narrative begins with the marriage of Philip II of Macedon and Olympias and concludes with Alexander's death in Babylon at 33. Key episodes include Alexander's childhood, his education under Aristotle, the Battle of Chaeronea at 18, and his coronation as Macedonian king. His Asian campaigns unfold through major battles at Granicus, Issus and Gaugamela. Designed for both children and adults, the production features meticulously researched sets and costumes complemented by traditional Macedonian and Epirote music. The performance includes staged combat, choreographed dances and live vocal performances from a cast of 20 actors.
